Veteran’s Day Parade

Members of the Emergency Services Pipes and Drums Association marched in the Veteran’s Day Parade in Austin this morning at 9am. One of our members, Snare Drummer Amador Anguiano is currently serving in Iraq. Our thoughts and prayers are with him on this Veteran’s Day.

ESPADA Remembers Three Fallen

June 8th, 2007 One of PHI International Medical Helicopters was lost while en route from Huntsville to Houston. Pilot Wayne Kirby, Flight Paramedic Stephanie Waters and Flight Nurse Jana Bishop were transporting a patient to Houston early Sunday morning when their helicopter crashed about two minutes after leaving Huntsville Memorial Hospital.

ESPADA was able to join with members of: Georgetown FD Pipes and Drums, Corpus Christi FD Pipes and Drums, Bryan FF Pipes and Drums, and Austin Police Department Pipes and Drums in honoring these men and women who died in the Line of Duty.
